Default Beta 3, gnome, fresh install.
I left the machine running while I had my dinner. When I came back, the machine was off, hibernating:
22:23:29 I left it. 22:53:28 Machine hibernates 23:29:11 I awake it (power on).
Why?
I see no reason given in the pm-suspend.log or any other about why it does so.
Is this an optional setting? Where do I look, where to disable?
Could be a hardware failure. I have a box with 11.0, Factory, Mandriva & others that was going to sleep at random for several months. Turned out to be failing PS. I replaced the swollen caps in the PS, and the problem disappeared. -- "Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry." James 1:19 NIV Team OS/2 ** Reg.
