Are these expected sizes?
Shouldn't they be rotated out as .xz like happens to zypper.log and messages?
Is there an /etc/logrotate.d/.... file configured for rotating the pbl log files?
Whatever's in them is whatever the defaults are. It's not a place I've ever consciously touched of which I have any recollection. 12.3 and 13.1 have nothing resembling what 20140721 has: # /etc/logrotate.d/pbl (timestamp 4 days ago) /var/log/pbl.log { compress dateext missingok notifempty create 600 root root extension .log maxage 365 rotate 10 size +4096k } -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
