openSUSE had a vote on the numbering not too long ago. Of course there will be 12.3. That is, unless there has been a new edict from NBG that I don't know of.
The idea was not release the next version at the date when 12.3 was scheduled to be released (because it will be too short after the delayed 12.2) and instead release 13.1 on the correct date, skipping 12.3. Alternatively, 12.3 would have to be released on the date scheduled for 13.1. The other alternative is to release 12.3 on time, with fewer features. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
