The announcement mail for the new snapshot said: Removed packages: libcdio14 > libiso9660-8 libcdio_cdda1 > libcdio_paranoia1 Added packages: libcdio16 > libiso9660-10 libcdio_cdda2 > libcdio_paranoia2 So those libs are still there, but got an abi bump. zipper want to remove these packages, at least add update or replacement for these packages please :) don't like losing them... you cdrom might not work anymore or you can't burn CD/DVD ....
