The button position itself can be customized on all (or most?) KWin decos, so one can't distinguish decos per that setting, but if you think about "Modern System" deco, then no, it isn't dropped, it's still part of the kdeartwork4- decorations package. If am however amazed that such a deco/theme bears that kind a name ;-)
