Hello maintainers.
I would like to see some dd with progress meter :) and found out that gnu coreutil dd version 8.24 at least (released july 2015) comes with a built-in functionality. Wondering why leap 42.1 was released with gnu coreutil 8.22 which dates back to 2013?
why Leap 42.1 was released with that? - Because Leap 42.1 is based on SLES12-SP1 as much as possible for the core platform (please read about Leap what it is) Will 42.1 see an update for coreutils? - Unlikely because coreutils sounds pretty core and there is risk to introduce new issues (please again read what Leap is supposed to provide) Can it be updated in Leap 42.2: - apparently it already is already updated to 8.25 when I look at the current status Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
