Hi,
after zypper dup on my server, it hangs again!
I can fix it via # ln -s /usr/etc/services /etc/services
So in the logs there was a remark that /etc/services can't be located.
Afterwords either many commands on the terminal (cli) crashes with segmentation fault inclusive zypper and sshd
And your /etc/nsswitch.conf is correct?!?
Also: rpm -q libnss_usrfiles2 ? # rpm -q libnss_usrfiles2
