they are pocket sphinx from cornell http://cmusphinx.sourceforge.net/2010/03/pocketsphinx-0-6-release/

multimedia:apps for sphinx and simon. If simon does not need KDE-specific libraries, but say, only Qt, it probably should not be in KDE.
