mozilla-nss (3.26.2 -> 3.28.1)
This package has been observed causing some troubles. Unfortunately, they seem not to manage to stay ABI compatible for more than a couple releases.
One notable pacissue for example is java crashing with this update. A rebuild of java is supposed to fix this.
Other apps have not yet been reported, but I triggered a rebuild of all ~700 packages depending on mozilla-nss: these updates will be available in the 0130 snapshot. It might be advisable to wait for this snapshot or, at least keep mozilla-nss 1.26 around on your system until 0130 is out.
Indeed this is an ABI breakage but in an internal interface. There are no promises for internal interfaces to keep compatibility. There is one for external interfaces though. So as we now know that OpenJDK uses a private interface we probably have to release Java updates now with every NSS update?
