2 machines running tumbleweeb with the stable kernel repos enabled (http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/stable/standard/). I normally do zypper ref and then zypper dup on both machines almost daily. This last cycle, the 32 bit machine worked just fine, and is now running kernel-desktop-4.2.0-5.1.ge7543dd.i686. The 64 bit machine did not pick up this version of the kernel during zypper dup. I see the proper kernel rpm exists for 64 bit machines in the repo. Trying to install the kernel via: zypper in http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/stable/standard/i686/kerne... results in: Problem: This request will break your system! libwx_gtk2u_html-suse-3_0-0-3.0.1-2.1.11.x86_64 requires /sbin/ldconfig, but this requirement cannot be provided uninstallable providers: glibc-2.19-16.15.1.i586[openSUSE_13.2_Update] glibc-2.19-16.9.1.i586[openSUSE_13.2_Update] glibc-2.19-16.15.1.i686[openSUSE_13.2_Update] glibc-2.19-16.9.1.i686[openSUSE_13.2_Update] glibc-2.19-16.15.1.x86_64[openSUSE_13.2_Update] glibc-2.19-16.9.1.x86_64[openSUSE_13.2_Update] Why is the installation of the kernel rpm complaining about some totally different RPM's dependencies (to me it appears that the messages are complaining about libwx_gtk2u_html-suse having issues with the glibc rpm ... nothing to do with the kernel rpm). I am pretty sure this is caused by some type of repo mixup, but I cannot seem to figure out what. Any help would be much appreciated. -- --Moby -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
