On Pentium 4 32 bit with 1GB RAM and 2G swap partition I just did offline NET upgrade from tw20200824 to tw20210606. It all seemed to go well enough, though slow, typical of USA mirrors. It booted normally afterward. But, it removed virtually all of KDE3 and thus KDM3, even though I selected to keep enabled the existing KDE3 repo. :(
