Let me get things back to normal and then I will post /var/log/messages for the particular time period where they can be browsed. A quick look did not show, but unconclusive. tks,
/var/log/messages for period of "zypper dup" until reboot which includes loosing internet are at: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/~pat/msg.log.txt
And what do you use for networking? I see only systemd-networks in this log, but this is something not used in openSUSE by default.
