I couldn't reproduce the problem. Just updated my laptop successfully. Try applying this patch before: https://gitlab.com/snippets/1965550
Thank you. I have included this in https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1173248
The easiest way is to change the Nvidia video card for an AMD card that has the drivers included in the kernel and does not give any problem.
Instead of having a free software company giving free support for closed source drivers.
I am using an AMD RX-580 video card with Tumbleweed and never had any problems with the drivers.
In theory you are completely right, the challenge is that I have a Laptop with Intel/Nvidia graphics. So there is no 'replace', just a 'switch-off' with prime.
