Have you tried that recently? I think even with 13.2 totem fails to play my anne_will.mp4 test culprit. It does notice that a codec is missing, but in the end nothing provides that codec.
Until I open a shell and dup to packman, install gstreamer-ugly, or whatever it takes to get it going.
Actually, yes, just now - as I even created screenshots for the other mail. And I would never ever dup to PM.. if I want 'one gstreamer codec package', I'm not going to replace half my setup with packages from a random 3rd party repo (ok, this got much better with PM-Essentials - but a DUP is still way above what I'd accept).
