Gad! We couldn't get along without rdiff-backup! We use it for daily backups of dozens of Leap desktops and servers, handing hundreds of terabytes of data. Loosing it would cause a major disruption for us. I'm slightly curious why you and / or Philippe are not stepping up to maintain it, if it is *that* important ;-)
You make an excellent point, Stefan. I've been using SuSE professionally since version 5.2, maybe it's time to give something back? I don't know if I have the required skill set, but I'll start poking around.
If you have questions feel free to ask in the packaging mailing list #opensuse-packaging on freenode or the packaging channel in openSUSE's matrix / discord. -- Simon Lees (Simotek) http://simotek.net Emergency Update Team keybase.io/simotek SUSE Linux Adelaide Australia, UTC+10:30 GPG Fingerprint: 5B87 DB9D 88DC F606 E489 CEC5 0922 C246 02F0 014B
