Thanks.
The post didn't come up in google when I was searching and I was not a list member at the time.
I was really confused because on release day for 12.1 I had done a clean 12.1 install and then followed the instructions here (http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Change_from_12.1_to_Tumbleweed). I ran a dup and tons of packages upgraded from the Tumbleweed repo.
I ran periodic dups with no problems and then all of a sudden all the mirrors were empty and my system wanted to downgrade a ton of packages. That seemed a little counter-intuitive so I started looking for a problem and posted to the list.
After reading the forum post I am going to run a dup to downgrade everything back to the 12.1 Tumbleweed versions and wait like everyone else.
Wait for what? Tumbleweed is useful today. I think people don't remember what it looked like at the beginning of 11.4. It takes a while to add packages as they need to get stable and the like from what is currently in the 12.1 repos. thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
