Not with the xine engine which comes with factory 10.3A4 and plus... You have to get rid of them all, and install another version, (the combined Guru-Packman version does work eventualy..) and you have to face and endure a lot of wining and complaining from Yast ofcourse. ;-)
Xine on guru? It's not there that I can find, but it is on Packman. Or do you mean Amarok?
libxine is on packman, indeed, and amarok on guru, but if you take amarok from guru, you get libxine and deps automaticly from packman... ;-) That is on guru, but not Packman. Generally, I've
found that Packman/Guru combination contains nearly everything
yep.. that
people keep mentioning are absent from, or have limited functionality in, the opensuse repositories. The big exception is libdvdcss
there is a link to it on packman's site, but i allways have a tarball lying around. Without it the different regio dvd's cannot be played, even no dvd at all can be played... , which can
no longer be legally distributed in Germany (I do hope the French remain as stubborn as they have always been :-) ) Though I've never used it, Jan Engelhardt's repository (suser-jengelh) appears to contain a lot of the remaining packages that keep getting mentioned.
Wiil take a look around ;-)
PS, Donn Washburn mentioned Totem/gstreamer. Again, both are on Packman.
