All,
I'm not on the opensuse-kde list, but I just saw the dolphin bug that causes it to crash when previewing a PPT file get marked resolved.

See the last few entries.
I consider this a major bug and I really hope that the fix can be backported to 11.4 (and even 11.3)
Thanks Greg
Greg you are around long enough to know this is better handled in a proper bugreport.
Well, I was one of the thousands that filed a bugzilla upstream with KDE. That's why I knew about the fix. I'm amazed it's not already in the Novell bugzilla, but I don't see it there.
Also I already wrote Peter about his opinion to backport it to 4.6 and he considers it too invasive for the stable branch, we'll have to live with it I fear, feel free to make a bugreport and get people to vote for it though, I'd prefer a small strigi fix though.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=675445 Everyone please vote. This bug is extremely annoying to the end-users and has been around for what seems like a couple years now.
Cheers, Karsten
