Exactly, the number of usecases would then increase exponentially and becomes unmanageable. In this case, the most likely way to go is providing separate tmp directory per-user using pam_namespace(8) , however what kind of storage will be used is still a matter that needs analysis.
Software will _always_ break during a development process. It's simply impossible to prevent; and to use that as an argument against change doesn't make any sense.
