Remember that the default zypper runs with --recommends turned on, so it is not usual for it to install way more packages than anticipated. `zypper dup --no-r` can do wonders at times.
Thanks
My point is that I'm satisfied with what I've got. I just wanted to know what version I'd actually got now and to point out the typo in the:
LICENSE AGREEMENT openSUSER 12.2 (sic)
What strange console font do you have? It says "openSUSE®" - and it's not impossible that your font displays ® as R - but it would be insane.
It is more related to the unimap used, rather than the font. For example, /usr/share/kbd/unimaps/ruscii.uni:0x52 U+0052 U+00ae This essentially means that '®' gets mapped to 'R'. The same occurs with 'Ë' which gets mapped to 'E' on display for cp437 fonts. It's all safe and sound. No typo. Just the limited space of the VGA console. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
