The only solution would be to force software rendering through the "llvmpipe" driver, otherwise Plasma 5 will not be able to run on your hardware.
In https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=349519 suggest to export variables
QT_XCB_FORCE_SOFTWARE_OPENGL=1 LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE="true"
This will force to use software rendering, instead of hardware OpenGL accelerated.
Thanks for the info. Also thanks to the suggestion of Luca. Only practical problem, where do I insert these solutions.
1: force software rendering 2: export variables
Fedora seems to handle the need for software rendering via script: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1249280 -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
