Hello, I'm using Digikam since long time ago to import and organize my pictures from my Canon 1200D camera without issues. Since some days... maybe with kernel 4.16, I'm getting usb disconnect when trying to import some pictures. The procedure starts, transfers some pictures and stops like you have disconnected the camera brutally, immediately it reconnects and the Most Recent Device plasma applet launches to ask you what to do with the camera. I have reformatted the SD card on the camera and also tested with Windows 10 and I'm not getting any issue there after trying a lot of transfers. The problem is always reproducible for me on Tumbleweed and not only on Digikam but also with file manager transfer (dolphin), so it seems that it is a USB or KDE issue. USB disks or flash drives seem not to be affected. dmesg has nothing useful [ 7724.413013] usb 4-1: new high-speed USB device number 6 using ehci-pci [ 7724.571714] usb 4-1: New USB device found, idVendor=04a9, idProduct=327f [ 7724.571720] usb 4-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0 [ 7724.571723] usb 4-1: Product: Canon Digital Camera [ 7724.571726] usb 4-1: Manufacturer: Canon Inc.
