No problemo! At the very least i got a response.
In all seriousness i am wanting to learn more, but it can be hard wading through all the results from Uncle Google and trying to discern fact from fiction. You guys are the experts, that's why i'm asking you.
I am now going to have a proper look at exactly what dependencies i need for Crossover/Wine on openSUSE. Unfortunately the install process on my previous setup - openSUSE Tumbleweed (12.1) was a lot more straight-forward process. On openSUSE 12.2 i had to install all the Wine dependencies myself even when using the crossover.rpm file. This is where the problem started.
If you would use zypper or yast for installing, the dependencies would automagically be installed for you providing the rpm is properly constructed. ps: Please read the opensuse mailing list netiquette at: http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Mailing_list_netiquette We don't top_post here and we expect you to trim your quotes to *only* what is necessary to convey or support your comment/question. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
