I've tried to a zypper dup and some problem with perl [1] and yast perl bindings [2] appears. If I chose solution 3 for the the first problem, then I don't see any other problem. What am I supposed to do? Is this a bug?
Cheers and thanks in advance, [...]
I have found that this seems to come from a related package has not been updated or the mirrors have not completely refreshed. And a simple and probably safe work-a-round is to do "zypper up" rather than dup until it resolves itself. Sometimes a matter of minutes and sometimes several days but I have never found it not to resolve itself.
You will also experience this when you have added repos for particular packages and zypper wants to downgrade particular packages. This also usually resolves itself after a while.
gud luk, presently doing a "zypper up -d" -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
