But it doesn't drive openSUSE Factory forward further. And that's the main goal why people are on this list.
systemd isn't at bronze level yet. sysvinit isn't platinium.
As Coolo said all is open and all depend on how things are developing with the next releases.
Making systemd the default - in particular in the update case - didn't made me happy too. But on the other hand it follow the keep it simple stupid (KISS) approch. If someone talks these days about openSUSE 12.1 there is no need to ask which init approach is driving the system. It's systemd by default in in case.
Please let us focus on openSUSE Factory work again.
