Any information would be gratefully, and most humbly, accepted and recognised. what is the associated bug number/URL?
dd The problem was already mentioned some weeks ago so what you are asking for must already be in the archives.
BC just to make it clear... the bug, which had many incarnations, was first reported on 26/04/2012... was discussed on irc and on mailing list quite few times... and if someone who is remotely interested in factory is asking for a bug number I may start to think.
Basil did you try yast:head repo? http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/YaST:/Head/openSUSE_Factory/
No, I haven't tried it. I have never heard of it. I have never heard of anything with "/Head" in it until someone mentioned "/Head" several days ago in relation to the kernel (to which I responded that, while I did enjoy living dangerously, I used the "/stable" part for the kernel in install). Now you mention "../Head/openSUSE_Factory/". How many other such hidden/"funny"/unknown/covert repositories are they which people have access to to try and solve their problems? I'll try out the repo you mention ASAP (probably tomorrow morning, my time) and see what occurs. Thanks for the giving the name of this repo.
