At least this is a bad idea: it'[s commonly used to install base systems in e.g. nspawn containers.
Good point, might have been a touch reckless ;)
Originally the idea was to make it non unselectable in the installer because everything required in minimal_base should be on every machine, its all the fundamental stuff that makes an openSUSE system an openSUSE system, zypper, bash, systemd and aaa_base. So in my mind hiding it is fine as long as every system role requires it. I'm sure containers etc aren't created with yast. Unless hiddeness effects SUSE Manager or auto_yast. -- Simon Lees (Simotek) http://simotek.net Emergency Update Team keybase.io/simotek SUSE Linux Adelaide Australia, UTC+10:30 GPG Fingerprint: 5B87 DB9D 88DC F606 E489 CEC5 0922 C246 02F0 014B -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
