Looks like: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=440928 which is still in state NEW. However, reading the comments, it's really not clear to me whether not even NetworkManager (which now completely bypasses network configuration in sysconfig) is able to work with the card, or whether it is just YaST that is unable to save its configuration. If the latter is the case, the bug has wrong assignee and needs to be passed to yast2-network maintainer(s)

Yast now saves, or seems to save.. Also is able to scan, and finds the networkname.. There is no negotiation with the router, maybe wrong protocolls? Anyway, latest 32bit update, this morning, did not solve ifups, or knm's incompetense to create a working connection... My card was listed twice, one sc configured, and one not configured.. I deleted the configured one, and configured the other one, but maube i have to throw them both away, and make a new one, like Luiz Fernando Ranghetti did... I will try that..
I could not throw away the card, only the config. Ifup can handle the wired lan wap, wifi no. I installed kinternet, but it is not able to connect either.. the network is found, but no connection signal.. I am now going to install gnm, and find out if that works. -- Have a nice day;) Oddball, (M9.)
