Hello,
But being "advised" of this, however, is not something I, or any new user of Tumbleweed, should have to go through and trawl through the web looking for repositories to make a version of an openSUSE distribution functional. I'm not sure what are you complaining about?
Issuing 'opensuse additional repositories' query gives here (as 1st hit) the following page: https://en.opensuse.org/Additional_package_repositor ies
"Issuing 'opensuse additional repositories' query gives here (as 1st hit)....". Issuing this WHERE, and HOW? Could you please explain and give full instructions? And are these instructions available to someone who has just installed Tumbleweed for the very first time and who has never used a Linux distro? But it seems that we are in a situation here where we have a problem about understanding the English language used in this thread. English is my third language, but I have been using it for many years. Before this exchange gets really out of hand I think that we should stop at this point.
