Please file a bugreport against GNOME.
Will do. I just saw the uneasy feeling confirmed tonight that I got when I witnessed how easily the young project Monsoon was adapted as the default BT client against tried-and-tested Transmission. Is the decision carved in stone, or can it be changed, yet? I must say, Monsoon has aspects that I like much better than Transmission: Its looks, the detailed information; speed is very good, too. But still, perhaps the decision about the default should be reconsidered. A BT client should mainly to its work unobtrusively in the background and not become prominent by memory-usage. (Well, unless you prefer Azureus, anyway...)
