With the release of openSUSE 12.3, openSUSE:Tumbleweed is now empty, to allow for easier updating.
For those of you who wish to keep Tumbleweed 12.2 running for a while, without having to upgrade, I suggest you do NOT update your Tumbleweed system for a while until you wish to upgrade.
Greg can you please indicate what the outcome of your proposals where around Tumbleweed becoming a standalone rolling release? Should we install openSUSE 12.3 then update point the repos to Tumbleweed and zypper dup from there? Or will there be a separate new (one off) iso for the Tumbleweed install? Sorry if i didn't understand the details of the "future directions" discussions.
