Now it comes to the question how to create a new organization on gitea. Is there a way to request a new official organization for a devel project?

I will import the packages and then let you guys know the state in advance. The biggest problem during migration is that if something is broken with tooling and I need to fix it, it's just simpler to delete the repos and re-create them than to mess around with things already there.

No problem. For now, we have Organization creation disabled. This will change in the future. It's to prevent spam, etc. Org creation can be enabled on per-user basis, which will help in operations. I will move the kernel-firmware migration higher on my list. Thanks! - Adam
