Forget it. That would require that someone writes a qt# library and possibly kde# libraries first in order to then rewrite zmd and other zen stuff thats written in mono. That someone would then have to constantly maintain all the stuff. IMNSHO that's never going to happen.
That looks to me like that in a lot of peoples' opinion, the "forget it" also applies to novell-zen: there's little interest in running a desktop (esp gnome) just for basic system services. Billy made that mistake many years ago, and boy fell he on his face.
