It means that either you or some app (NetworkManager?) tampered with /etc/resolv.conf so that its check sum no longer matches. In that case netconfig (a network script responsible for consistent updating of resolv.conf) refuses to modify it. If it was you who updated resolv.conf manually, you're basically on your own. If it was some other app (usually you can check in resolv.conf header which one), please file a bug.
