Not exactly, NAICT. It seems Intel got the idea some time back that USB was sufficient for all input devices, so for a while most new motherboard designs included no PS/2 ports. Apparently there were enough complaints that most more recent ATX and mATX motherboards have a single PS/2 port on the back panel, and some even have two.
