No, you didn't read/understand the bug-report.
Don't worry -- it's just you who didn't understand my message. While I had admitted in an earlier email that my settings had ordered the system to clean out my /var/tmp, this bug report has reminded me to check the CLEAR_TMP_DIRS_AT_BOOTUP entry, so I re-read my cron config file, and there I found that I had disabled the cron job (empty MAX_DAYS_IN_TMP) *and* disallowed cleaning at bootup. So there was no justification for SuSE to remove any of my data, and it must have been a bug after all. Whether it was the same bug that Frederic pointed to is a different matter. I never said it was. Not that it isn't a likely reason. m. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
