tl;dr 42.2 RC2 is on the mirrors, get it from http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/42.2/iso/
Installed from DVD OK but . . .
(1) There appears to be no Claws 3.14 available. Although there is now (at long last) a repo for GNOME apps there is no Claws in there. This may seem trivial but it means I cannot give 42.2 a thorough test as switching between 3.13 and 3.14 causes too many problems such as loss of account passwords.
This is not the fault of Leap at all - Leap 42.1 came with claws-mail 3.12, 42.2 with claws-mail 3.13.2.
Sure. Just saying what has stopped me thoroughly testing 42.2.
[One problem with GNOME:Apps and documentation is where the repo is said to be for test apps only (pre-factory) but they never see the light of day elsewhere. Means that even security updates never get to factory, let alone any further up the chain. OK, before you say it, I should raise this elsewhere. Again.]
If you're volunteering to maintain packages, you could submit them from GNOME:Apps to Factory -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
