What are we going to do? Drop lilypond, I will keep it alive in home:plater:lilypond with guile-1.8.8 to replace guile-2.0.2 or revert to guile-1.8.8 in line with the other linux distributions?
I think it would be possible to carry both. guile package needs to be packaged according to shared library policy first, I would try to find time for it.
Petr Ok progress so far : I've created guile1-1.88 with individually packaged libraries and renamed guile-devel libguile-devel providing guile-devel and if no other packages that build against guile 2.0 actually use the binary from guile 2.0 then what I've done should be be sufficient after I've split off the guile 2.0 libraries as well. Is this ok?
Dave Hi Dave,
I don' t see lilypond, or guile1-1.88 in the normal repos of 12.1. Is it still available, and if yes, where can I find it?
We need guile1 for gnucash in 12.1 (see [1]), so it's likely to come back to 12.1. In the meantime: $ osc search --package guile1 matches for 'guile1' in packages: # Project # Package devel:languages:misc guile1 home:cornelisbb guile1 home:mlewissmith:testing guile1 home:pgajdos guile1 home:pgajdos:guile1 guile1 home:plater:lilypond guile1 home:repabuild guile1 multimedia:apps guile1 multimedia:libs guile1 openSUSE:Factory guile1 Cheers, Vincent [1] https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=724917 -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
