After upgrading to 20210920 my laptop can't get an IPv4 address via dhcp anymore - it just times out. IPv6 adresses come in reliably via radvd, but I don't have a V6 resolver in my network...
There's definitely something wrong with dhclient or the likes - asd soon as I configure a connection with static adresses all is well. But of course that doesn't work with a laptop that is used while travelling.
Cheers Mathias
There definately isn't an issue with network on my 0920 laptop which has travelled across 4 different networks so far today, all but one with fresh DHCP leases.. So I think you'll need to ask yourself what differences your system must have from the default and/or every single (very DHCP heavy) test done on openQA. And then you might find that the issue is a local issue of your creation .In which case, please fix it on your system and only tell us here if you think a large majority would find it interesting (given no one else is reporting networking issues..I think this is unlikely) You may also find that, even if it is due to weird local issues, it does ultimately still represent a bugg - in which case, please report it properly and not create more noise here. Good luck, Richard
