I have an opened bug (feature-request) in openSUSE bugzilla, that asks to introduce delays into standard GRUB, so it will enter text mode, and after few second will re-enter GFX mode.
Yeah right, make boot slower even. Alexey commemorate moment for everyone. Is this April 1st? I hope this is not even _considered_ as for it to be of any use to you it would have to be default behaviour which is so nuts I lack words.
Why not try and fix kvm interaction?
Because it is not just about KVM, but about several issues with graphical GRUB, that do not work in some cases. By _not work_ I mean, that it completely disallows _some_ users to even install openSUSE 10.3 on some systems. I think, that we can go the average way, and introduce the delays only to the install DVD, not to the final installed image on your Hard Disk. This way, I hope it won't hurt you much. Please understand - that I cannot even start the installation process on some systems. -- -Alexey Eremenko "Technologov" --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
