Hello,
I plan to submit PostfixAdmin to Factory. One of its dependencies is the Zend Framework, which requires some more packages. I'd like to ask the maintainers of these packages to submit them to Factory ;-)
Christian I'm preparing an updated version of the ZF package for submission into factory. I was actually quite embarrased about how long the manual took to build using xsltproc and could easily hog a build host for some time. I felt this would be unacceptable for factory.
For suse_version > 1130 (PHP >= 5.3 requirement), the documentation packages are now built using PHD - http://doc.php.net/phd/ it's about an order of magnitude faster for building from docbook xml. For the SLES targets and 11.3 or less , it will still build the documentation using xsltproc :(
BTW: My temporary project home:cboltz:zend-framework (with a QA package that BuildRequires all the above packages to check if they are installable) might be interesting (it shows that the above list is complete). home:cboltz:prepare-factory can serve as a status monitor to show which packages are still missing in factory.
I'll keep an eye on this to submitreq to factory but feel free to poke me if the dependencies get submitted and I don't notice.
Cheers, Grhaam
If you need anything from my side, just bug me - I'm currently very busy with a licensing cleanup in upstream before I submit the next round of updates but I don't want to block anything. -- Ralf Lang Linux Consultant / Developer B1 Systems GmbH Osterfeldstraße 7 / 85088 Vohburg / http://www.b1-systems.de GF: Ralph Dehner / Unternehmenssitz: Vohburg / AG: Ingolstadt,HRB 3537 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
