It's a rolling distro. Sometimes, you must take one step backwards to take two forward. ;-)
Perhaps some check could be put in place to retain the packages in TW that are newer then the newly released version so as to not cause this problem with TW users.
What problem? Packages moving "backwards"? That happens all the time, is to be expected, and is normal.
