LS,
I have several machines running TW only and one with multiple versions of OpenSuse. On the latter machine I can't get the /tmp directory as a memory based directory, but only when using TW.
The line in fstab are everywhere the same but when enabled for TW, I can't get services being started because the system is always in read-only mode.
1. /tmp on tmpfs is default on openSUSE, no need to for special entries in /etc/fstab 2. "The system is in read-only mode". Only /tmp or the whole root filesystem? If the later, this sounds more like an independ issue with your system. Thorsten
Even when I add rw to the mount instruction, it stays in ro mode only. As said before, on other TW machines no problem.
Has anybody encountered a similar situation?
Regards, Frans.
