MicroOS comes with SELinux in enforcing mode and without AppArmor.
Do you think that TW will transitioin to SELinux and stop using AppArmor ?
SELinux and AppArmor have both Pros and Cons and are for different use cases. Which leads to the situation, that there are setups like MicroOS, where SELinux fits better, and other like Tumbleweed, where AppArmor fits better. Today I don't see a need to move Tumbleweed to SELinux, but as the world in continuously moving, the situation can be a different one tomorrow. Means: today there are no such plans, but nobody knows what will come tomorrow. Before people complain in 10 years, that we wrote that TW will not move to SELinux ;) Thorsten -- Thorsten Kukuk, Distinguished Engineer, Senior Architect, Future Technologies SUSE Software Solutions Germany GmbH, Frankenstraße 146, 90461 Nuernberg, Germany Managing Director: Ivo Totev, Andrew Myers, Andrew McDonald, Martje Boudien Moerman (HRB 36809, AG Nürnberg)
