- can I use this to seamlessly use the nvidia card for single applications / games while continue to run the desktop itself on the intel card the way I can with bumblebee / optirun / primusrun? No.
- does it work with 32bit binares that need the nvidia card? 32-bit apps are working fine.
- does it work with steam and steam games? Yes. Actually even better than bumblebee. Performance improvement for some cases, while I'm haven't noticed any serious difference, other people noted big difference in performance. The main improvement for me: Vulkan — bumblebee doesn't work with Vulkan and its development stopped several years ago, so it would happen [1]. There is some project [2] to support Vulkan in bumblebee way, but it seems it stuck with coping overhead.
