Is lightdm required and/or intended on a machine with KDE patterns installed? IIRC KDE uses sddm. Full log with repos is attached.
For now this is intentional, previously all systems had xdm installed regardless of the Desktop, now they will have lightdm instead. Some people have plans to make further changes so that most users only end up with one DM installed on new installs, but when I last spoke to them there was still a couple of things outside of patterns that they needed to address first.
Lightdm is only recommended so if it bothers you it is possible to uninstall it and lock it so it doesn't get pulled in again, at the same time it also doesn't take up much space (under 1Mb) or require any crazy dependencies that you wont already have so there isn't much harm in having it there.

Thank you. Just making sure it's not the same situation as was with maven a few snapshots ago. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
