That wont work anyway... or at least not for certain common scenarios.. let me explain you why. - Anything that uses networkmanager wont work with sysvinit - Anything that uses policykit wont work with sysvinit. - Anything gnome wont work with sysvinit. - anything that used ConsoleKit, wont work with sysvinit. A I have explained many times before, the effort of maintaining two init system is doomed to fail or extremely difficult to carry on.
or "dhcpcd eth0" that just hung on my 12.2's systemd trying to restart ntp.service
