This may work for you with your kind of network, but not with mine. An update attempt may take as "little" as four hours. If I trigger it at 2 am, to try catch a period of developers resting, and I go to bed, chances are it will not finish. A restart on the morning does not work, because the repo has changed, so I have to wait till the next night. I may have to try for a week before I finally get it done.
