Not at the moment, as I have explained before, it is not still a full replacment for syslog. there will be a network protocol with push/pull abilitites.
Halt stop crash !!!
I have to give up syslogng and all the filtering scripts I've written for it?
No. As I wrote in another thread a few days ago: you can safely "rm -fr /var/log/journal" and use syslog-ng just as ever before (you don't need to delete it, but it can save a few hundred megabytes of disk space...). syslog-ng even detects if it runs under sysvinit or systemd, so there is no need to rewrite the configuration file... (I know, as I'm from the syslog-ng team, researched it, tested it, and talked to systemd/journal developers in person about it) Bye, Peter Czanik (CzP) BalaBit IT Security / syslog-ng upstream http://czanik.blogs.balabit.com/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
