Hi, I just downloaded a 15.1 snapshot installer and installed my package -- syslog-ng. Of course, as usual, I forgot to update the version number in the configuration. Also, there was a harmless warning about HTTP in the minimal installation, which I now removed by reorganizing files. Update to syslog-ng is now in Base:System and also on it's way to Factory: https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/693713 Is this update pulled automagically into 15.1? Hi,
Leap 15.1 enters release candidate phase next week. During RC phase only bug fixes are meant to be applied. Version updates need to have a justification. No promises about getting extra packages in anymore. Final package submission deadline will be May 13th.
As usual, please report any bugs you find to bugzilla¹. Issues and glitches that cannot be fixed anymore should be documented in the release notes².
Translations look quite good this time but the wiki clearly needs love³. It's a wiki so don't hesitate to contribute!

PS: 42.3 and therefore the 42 series reaches EOL shortly after 15.1. If you are still on 42.3 please consider upgrading now to help find and fix issues in that process.
